This is my second post. After reading my first post, I hope you will find it interesting to read my second post. Rajasthan, the state known for having a desert consisting of dull monotoned color sand is colorful only because of what its people wear. The bright colors make up for the absence of blooming flowers in the state. Interesting costumes and jewellery are not just mere ornaments for these desert people. Everything from head to toe establishes their identity, economic and social status. The women of this state where ghagras of wide base and narrow waist. They have prints of various colors and mirrors on them. they also wear a chuni or odni which is tucked to their skirt on one end and covers their head. The Rajasthani odnis are worn along with plain kurtis which increases their charm. The jewellery worn by them are adorned by many fashion icons and young girls. The Rajasthani kurtis also have various prints on them. they are worn by people from across India and draw attention because of their vibrance.
